Missouri Town Revisits Ban On Pit Bulls
This Missouri towns wants to rethink its current ban on the breed of dog known as Pit Bulls.
Independence, Missouri banned pit bulls in 2006 after a particularly vicious attack by one of them. Since then, no pit bulls have been allowed within the City Limits.
The animal shelter houses pit bulls, but is not allowed to adopt them out to residents. There are surrounding cities that have lifted the ban against them and some that have not.
